Fife Coast and Countryside Trust Ranger, Ranald Strachan, welcomed twenty volunteers to a volunteer day at the West Sands, St Andrews, on Saturday 7th January.  The focus of the day was to combat the effects of erosion in the linear sand dunes, which are a feature of West Sands.

The second stage of the Fife Pilgrim Way grant application was recently submitted to the Heritage Lottery Fund in and the outcome will be known in March 2017.

November 1st brought with it the first proper cold morning, October has been a lovely Autumnal and mild affair. Very little wind or rain for the most part and some great sunshine.
