Coastal Centre

Fife's first Coastal Centre, located at Harbourmaster's House is designed to encourage people to explore the many features of the Fife Coastal Path and provide some context and history of the importance of the coast and how it has shaped the industry and culture of Fife.

The interactive displays within the centre explain the exciting history of the region and visitors can enjoy an insight in to the Royal Burgh of Dysart with our self-guided audio tour.

It also explores the links with our North Sea neighbours as well as offering visitors the chance to learn about the trading routes via our interactive North Sea Trading Game. Harbourmaster’s is the perfect place to stop and rest and then plan your adventure while on your Fife Coastal Path journey.

Opening Hours are:

March to October              9:30am to 4:30pm
November to February     10:00am to 3:30pm

Please note that unfortunately we do not allow dogs (other than assistant dogs) at the Harbourmaster’s House.
