Harbourmaster's House
Situated in the historic village of Dysart in East Neuk of Fife and with views across the Firth of Forth, The Harbourmaster’s House is one of the locations used to shoot the nationally acclaimed ‘Outlander’ television series. Steeped in history Harbourmaster’s House offers the perfect place for the whole family to explore, learn and relax.
Easy parking right outside and good disabled access make the Harbourmaster’s House a regular port of call for locals and visitors alike. We’ve been awarded the Gold award from Green Tourism Business Scheme in recognition of our sourcing policy, our waste management policy, our use of renewable energy, our commitments to our staff and playing an active role in the community.
Harbourmaster's House is open daily and offers:
•
Coastal Centre
• Harbour Bistro
• Local Art
• Giftware
• Fife Coast and Countryside’s head offices.
Harbour Bistro Located on the picturesque harbour side our Bistro offers a relaxing environment to sit and enjoy a pot of freshly brewed tea or ground coffee; traditional Scottish fayre, freshly prepared light lunches; homemade cakes & scones; cream teas and pastries. Described as an ‘oasis’ by some of our customers the Bistro is open 7 days a week with the exception of the Christmas and New Year holidays. To keep the younger visitors happy the Bistro is well-stocked with a variety of books, toys and games for a wide range of ages and we also have an abundance of highchairs. The Bistro provides an excellent exhibition space for local artists, all of the art work is available to purchase and mediums include photography, mosaic, upcycled art pieces, linocut, watercolour, acrylic and oils; all influenced by stunning landscape of Fife. We also stock a range of unique, affordable gifts and souvenirs that hit just the right note.
