Welcome Ports

The Fife Coastal Path route is serviced by several Welcome Ports, facilities that provide walkers with a warm welcome.

We are delighted to work with around 50 businesses along the coastal path route who are part of our Welcome Port programme.

Providing information and facilities, their assistance enhances the path experience for all. Look out for the Welcome Port logo on your trip. Click on the sectional links below for further information about the Welcome Ports in that area.

Our most recent Coastal Survey showed that between £24 and £29m was generated for the local economy by the Fife Coastal Path. We are always interested in hearing from entreprenuers who feel they can provide Welcome Port facilities. So if you have a business close to the route, please click here for futher details on how to join the scheme.

An innovate scheme ‘The Big Green Footprint’ has been recently relaunched by the Trust –the scheme is a way of offering visitors the opportunity to give a little something back to maintaining Fife’s natural heritage for future generations.

As a local business with a social and environmental conscience, supporting the Big Green Footprint Scheme, will demonstrate to visitors and the local community, your commitment to caring for the environment and people’s well-being.

The Big Green Footprint Scheme offers a variety of giving options which can be tailored to suit the values, ethos, brand and image of your organisation.
