Built in the 17th Century, The Harbourmaster’s House overlooks the historic harbour of Dysart. In 2006, the building was renovated and refurbished as part of a £1 million project involving Fife Council, Fife Coast and Countryside Trust, Dysart Regeneration and the Dysart Trust.
The Harbourmaster's House was opened on Sunday 3rd September 2006 by the Rt. Hon Gordon Brown.

The building houses Fife's first coastal centre, bistro and community room and is the headquarters for Fife Coast and Countryside Trust.
The building has been awarded a gold award from the Green Business Tourism scheme and holds a 4 stars award from Visit Scotland's Visitor Attraction Scheme. To find out further information of businesses within Fife who are also apart of this scheme click here
